January 1, 1993, Europe opens its borders. Two customs officers, one Belgian, the other French, learn of the imminent disappearance of their border crossing situated in Courquain (France) and Koorkin (Belgian). French-speakers from father to son and far too zealous at his job, Belgian Ruben Vandevoorde is forced to inaugurate the first French-Belgian mobile brigade with a French colleague, Mathias Ducatel, considered by Ruben as his sworn enemy.

1er janvier 1993 : passage à l’Europe. Deux douaniers, l’un belge, l’autre français, apprennent la disparition prochaine de leur poste frontière situé dans la commune de Courquain France et Koorkin Belgique. Francophobe de père en fils et douanier belge trop zélé, Ruben Vandevoorde se voit contraint et forcé d’inaugurer la première brigade volante mixte franco-belge avec un collègue français, Mathias Ducatel, considéré par Ruben comme son ennemi de toujours.
