DANY BOON, writer/director/actor of France’s most successful film in history, will attend France Cinema Floride film festival. The film is called “Welcome to the Sticks”. This record breaking blockbuster hit has been seen by over 20 million people in France, a country of close to 62 million people. Also in attendance will be KAD MERAD, the lead actor, and ERIC HUBERT, the film’s executive producer.
This is the first time Dany, Kad and Eric attend a screening of the film in the US.
They will present the film and stay with us for Q&A after the screening.
Other talents will attend the festival, giving audiences the opportunity to hear directly from the creators and to interact with them in Q&A sessions.
The critically-acclaimed film “Magic” will be presented 1 week after the French release by its up and coming writer/director PHILIPPE MUYL. The film is a French-Canadian co-production.
Writer/director FREDERIC BERTHE will be in Boca Raton presenting his film “School’s out” for the first time outside of France. It is also an honor to have with us this year a great young actress MELANIE DOUTEY.
Many other films will captivate audiences and transport them.The festival will feature films for young audiences as well, including a live-action Asterix film with Gerard Depardieu and an animated Lucky Luke feature. All films will be shown in French with English sub-titles.

FRANCE CINEMA FLORIDE has become the most expected showcase of French films in South Florida and one of the biggest events in the United States dedicated to the French Cinema.
